Perfection sometimes comes in an enigma... in this case half an enigma...

Considering I'm pretty positive this gorgeous specimen of masculinity was photographed by a prolific California photographer who goes by the name of D.J.... But as to who the model is, or whether he's even a professional model... well, that remains a mystery.

Regardless, it's Sunday night, and I should be doing my laundry... as opposed to currently watching the Golden Globes right now... so excuse me for salivating somewhat over a perfect specimen for getting said laundry done. Perhaps a little slower than your run-of-the-mill washing machine... but hey, who am I to complain right?

I mean, if the board gets the job done then it gets the job done... And yes, this board seems rather perfect for the job (to put it mildly)...

(*observers board from top down*).. I swear at this rate my laundry will never get done tonight ...

I'm Back!!

Hello!! I am thrilled to be back after what seems like a very long hiatus! Whilst away from the blog, I have had a wonderful Summer holiday with my family and I have also been busily working on all the wonderful things we have in store for Black & Spiro in 2010.

One very exciting bit of news which I will share with you is that just a few days before Christmas I visited Stuart Membery in Indonesia. We went to his beautiful home and viewed his amazing furniture which we are bringing a container load of into Australia...due to arrive here in a few months time.

It was an absolute delight meeting Stuart and being able to visit his home was a very exciting experience.

Not only will we be receiving lots of Stuart's wonderful pieces, we have sourced some beautiful, unique accessory pieces including lots of lovely woven trays, baskets etc. which will be coming on the container as well so do stay tuned!!

I will share a few photos of Stuart's home this week here on the blog. You may spot some of the furniture pieces in the photos which we are going to be stocking here at Black & Spiro so if anyone is interested in any piece they see, just let me know. anna@blackandspiro.com.au

Just Beautiful... attire...

If this isn't perhaps the hottest shot of a dog-tag necklace I've ever come across, well then I don't know what is ...

I mean, look how the, err... light (kind of ) reflects off the, uh, sun-light. So utterly gorgeous, and such a perfect capture. Plus that (faux?) fur on the coat, I mean seriously... where can I get one?... Oh, and that belt. Just wow, I'm betting from the looks of things it's pretty sturdy ...

Mr. Perfect Jaw-line exfoliates

The 'not so secret life of' gorgeous 23 year-old actor Brandon Eaton apparently involves him mentioning every other second that he's gay....

...well, at least on TV (and perhaps in some of my wilder fantasies) he certainly plays the part. Oh, and of course the obligatory 'I have an awesome body and it must be displayed one way or another' aspect of his character doesn't hurt every now and then either.

This clip originates from Season 2, episode 14 of the Secret Life of The American Teenager. Around late last year Brando (who perhaps you might've caught recently on Dexter and NCIS), was cast in the role of the apparent 'gay BFF'. To say that I've been searching high and low for quality shots of mr. Eaton ever since would be an understatement, but fortunately the great clips keep coming (and I just keep collecting ). Now... I suppose it remains to be seen just how far ABC's willing to go with this whole 'gay sidekick' character they've written for Brando. Let's just keep our fingers crossed in case the obligatory kiss ever materializes... (i'll be keeping an eye out ).
