My son would be in HEAVEN if this was our yard with that amazing trampoline and I as his mother would be in HEAVEN if this was our house...the yellow shutters are seriously beautiful...I'm in LOVE!!

It's the Weekend...

Thank goodness it's the weekend! Unfortunately the weather here is a little different to the weather in that glorious picture above. It's cold and rainy here today and I believe this weather will continue into the weekend. To be completely honest, I'm thrilled as I can't wait to spend the weekend snuggled up with lots of magazines and possibly a bit of cooking for my boys on Sunday!! Hope you all have a great weekend!! Blog Browsing

After being away for a few days I had a lot of blog browsing to catch up on. One post which I really loved was by Habitually Chic on Ralph Lauren. She has featured lots of beautiful pictures of his Bedford, New York home. It is definitely worth a click of your mouse in Habitually Chic's direction. After I read the post this morning I actually emailed this picture above of his pool and pool house to my mum and as I said in the email to her my house is literally the size of his pool house and in actual fact it reminds me very much of my little house but of course without the huge grounds and huge pool and huge house just nearby!!

I love the concept of a pool house - a seperate pavillion to entertain and relax in around the pool. I have a whole file of beautiful pool houses which continues to expand in the hope that one day I will have a yard large enough to have one of these beautiful structures. I've listed a few of my favourites above, some of which I have posted before but I just couldn't help it as they continue to speak to me and inspire me.

**BTW - Just to fill you in I am still experiencing some technical problems with the blog which are blocking me from posting but I am working on them and all I can say is I'll have them fixed as soon as I can. Sorry for the lack of posts while I work on these problems and thanks for your patience!
