The Most Eligible Hunk?

Not that I want to come off as skeptical/cynical, but I seriously have to wonder how someone who just happens to look like bachelor #14 Mr. Jake Pavelka here... manages to remain single until 31 and desperate enough to get on a reality show looking for love confused.

Not that I'm one to complain... I mean seriously just keep it coming with the shirtless shots, gorgeous slow-mos, and million dollar smiles and I might consider tuning in for the rest of the season. (...as a matter of fact, if I didn't know better, I'd swear this might've all been part ABC's sinister scheme from the get-go confused).
While we're on the subject of a sexy Pavelka here, I can't let this post go without mentioning the other gorgeous specimen of male perfection that just happens to be Jake's cousin (I could almost swear these guys look like a breed of super soldiers confused). My advice to the lucky lady who finally manages to land Mr. Pavelka up above: Go for the baby ASAP... those genes are just too hot to go to waste cool.

Jessie Pavelka in Marvel Comics?

Ok, so technically this is actually a rendition of the Avengers character Hawkeye by Marvel artist Mike Mayhew (from the New Avengers Annual #03 2010 edition)...

...Captured by the Dark Avengers, and for some odd reason stripped for interrogation in a hellicarrier... (I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, but apparently there's some random unspoken rule out there about interrogating handsome super heroes sans superhero outfit mrgreen)...

But yeah, apparently a naked Hawkeye interrogation is somewhat eye-catching in its own right. But perhaps even more interesting (as you can tell from the face shot above)... is the somewhat striking resemblance Hawkeye bears in this particular comic to a certain 26 year-old relatively well-known Los Angeles-based model by the name of Jessie Pavelka.

I'd like to make clear that I'm not saying with 100% certainty that Jessie was used as a model for Mike's latest artistic rendition of Hawkeye. But... just from a personal (perhaps layman's) perspective, I think the resemblance is quite striking mrgreen...

Dare I say this last panel was perhaps a childhood fantasy? mrgreen... Well, I'm supposed to have outgrown this stuff, so I think I'll just leave it at that cool.

Welcoming in 2010!

Happy New Years everyone!!! I hope that everyone has an amazing year. That you have learned from past experiences & that you have set new goals. Write in and tell everyone if you have a New Years Resolution. Every single year, mine goal is to lose a few pounds and to get healthier. I have definitely made some progress.

This year, along with that goal - I think I want to start researching different charities. Its time for me to think outside of the box and figure out what more I can do to help others. What about you?!? What is your New Years Resolution? What goals have you set for yourself to see positive change in your life?
